Meet Taylor Laurich of Chronicles of Yarnia.
Taylor Laurich is one of the artisan co-founders of The Chronicles of Yarnia, Inc. Taking her love of color, entrepreneurship and all things made of yarn, she knits and crochets any unique item her customers can dream up.
The interest in yarn and all things creative was sparked at a young age by her grandmother, who taught her how to crochet and mother, who taught her to sew.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in the Apparel Development/Design Program from University of Wisconsin – Stout. She studied abroad at AIU London with Zandra Rhodes and Prudence Millinery of Vivienne Westwood. This took her design knowledge to a much higher level. This background has given her the ability to design and construct beautiful, quirky, wearable, unique and joyful creations.
Taylor’s creations have won a blue ribbon at the Minnesota state fair, Best Knits in Show at the Silhouettes Fashion Show 2014, and was called to attend an interview in Chicago for the national television show “Project Runway.”
In addition to Dog Love Repeat, she collaborates with multiple business around the Minnesota and Wisconsin areas. 7 Vines Vineyard, Core & Main, Gaard, Periscope, Nintendo, Grandview Resort, Waterfront Cafe, among others.
She and her boyfriend, Adam, enjoy travel (always on the lookout for unique yarns!), going to comedy clubs, ice skating and checking out new restaurants.
